| Odin Somerled Donald Our son is named after the very complex Norse God Odin. This great deity was worshiped throughout the Nordic countries as their chief god. His qualities include but are not limited to: Intelligence,Magick, Poetry and Prophesy Somerled, "King of the Hebrides" was a great ruler who in the 12th century CE conquered and drove Vikings from the Scottish Isles. He united both the Celtic and Nordic people who lived there, they then became known as the Gall-Gaidheal, literally meaning 'Foreign-Gaels Somerled was the first Donald. |
